Plugin is working great! For the first time though, when trying to edit the text on the page password form, I can’t for the life of me save the changes to the text. There is no save button, no way to save/apply the text change. So I make changes that highlight the Publish button, like changing text associated with the password entry box, then click Publish, but the text is not changed while the text associated with the password entry box is indeed updated. This is under the WordPress theme settings/customize for single password form just to protect one page: http://www.compete.design/reterra2021-competitor/. Thanks in advance!

  • Hi @mwssoneofnnet,

Happy New Year! We wish you a fantastic 2021 ahead.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We really appreciate your compliment.

To assist you better, may we know which text options are not saved properly?

Is it just a few or all options under Single Password Form?

We look forward to your reply.

wow thank you for your reply on New Year’s Day!

first, yes, the plug in is so easy to use, was exactly what we needed for http://www.compete.design/reterra2021-competitor. thank you so much!

second, so when I go to Theme/Customize, and I go to the bottom to edit the text for the password protected page, noted above, everything used to work just fine. I have edited the protected page text many times. Today, for first time, nothing happens when I change the text in the second paragraph text field, the area of text on the page currently beginning with “This page allows Registered Competitors….” Now, I CAN edit the text, but the Publish button doesn’t turn blue/activate when I change the text. It is only when I make changes in this page such as changing the text for the password field, such as changing “Password” to “Password1”, that the Publish button activates. Further, whatever changes I make to this password text field sticks. So, when I changed “Password” to “Password1” or anything else, I can click to publish and the change appears on the page. However, even though this change appears and sticks, any changes to the second paragraph text field, the one saying “The page allows ….”, does not stick. For the life of me I am not able to change this text. I have cleared cache, tried multiple browsers, loaded from new pages, cleared cache of browser, etc. but making any changes to this text does not stick.

Many thanks again for your help!

    You’re most welcome, @mwssoneofnnet.

Thanks for your detailed explanation. We have tried in vain to reproduce the issue on our side.

It looks like a conflict with the theme or plugin on your site.

Could you please switch to the default theme or deactivate the plugin one by one until the issue is resolved?

If the issue still persists, please drop us an email at hello(at)preventdirectaccess.com so that we can further discuss it and provide you with a solution accordingly.

Have a great day as always.

    Elena
