Settings page in the backend dashboard is blank after recent update (202608.1)

The backend settings page in the dashboard has gone completely blank except these credits/footer at the bottom of the page: Please rate Table of Contents Plus ★★★★★ on WordPress.org to help us spread the word. Thank you! WordPress 7.1 | Table of Contents Plus 202608.1

I deleted the plugin and made a fresh install; but still the same result.

So I had to rollback to the previous version of the plugin (202607.1), which is working fine.
