# Settings not working

 * Data inserted on the settings page is not being saved.
 * This is what network console shows:

   Request Method: POST Status Code: 404 Not Found
 * I’m using WordPress 5.1.1

 * Are you using an “Almost pretty” permalink on purpose ? Meaning you get index.
   php printed on the url.

 * Hey Nicolas, I was using the default ugly url, changing the url settings to ‘
   Pretty Permalinks’ made it work.
 * Case ugly urls are not supported, I would suggest adding that info somewhere.

 * I’m glad you got it working !
 * You’re correct I should (and will) mention it’s not working with the index.php
   left.
 * But if you inspect the utl you first shared you will see the API conversion to
   query parameters “?rest_route=” that makes it work without pretty permalinks,
   it fails with index.php.
