• Hello,

Toggle Switch settings are not saving.

For example, If I go to XML – HTML Sitemap –> General –> Enable HTML Sitemap –> click the toggle to on, then click save – a small popup appears stating “Settings saved successfully” but when I refresh the page the “Enable HTML Sitemap” toggle is reset to the off position.

I am also not able to create the HTML sitemap. So, its not the page incorrectly displaying the toggle state.

This occurs with all Toggle switches except for those in the “SEO management” dashboard tab. Those toggles maintain the value you set and the toggle on the corresponding page is greyed out. For instance disabling the “Titles & Metas” toggle does turn off the toggle on its corresponding page.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi,

which version of SEOPress do you use please?

Do you have any errors in the browser console when enabling the HTML sitemap option then saves changes?

I’m using the free version. Wanted to test it prior to purchasing the pro version.

    No. No errors.

It’s not just the HTML map. Its “ALL” toggle radio buttons, except those on the Dashboard page.

We have tested this on our side on a brand new WordPress installation. We have been able to build our HTML sitemap successfully.

Would it be possible to have a video (loom or equivalent) to make sure we understand your issue please?

    Thank you for your help!

So as I mentioned before. The issue is not the HTML sitemap. That was just an example.

The issue is that NONE of the toggle radio buttons maintain a setting except the default setting.

    1. can you confirm you’re using version 9.8.5 of SEOPress Free?
    2. Which version of WordPress are you using?
    3. Please enable WP DEBUG by following this guide, then click on a toggle to see if you get any errors in the debug.log file. https://www.seopress.org/support/guides/wp_debug-enable-error-logging-in-wordpress/
