there appears to be no way of changing (or even accessing) settings prior to going through the setup/sync procedure – hence the plugin proceeds to sync everything whether i want to or not. this seems like a serious design flaw. can it be fixed? is there a way around this?

    thanks

    Hey,

    Thankyou, for using our integration.

As per your query, we would like to tell you that, during the on-boarding, all of the contacts are scheduled to be synced.

If you want to sync selective users only then, stop the existing contact sync process and go to SYNC from the navigation

There you can select a single or multiple user roles that you want to sync also you can include a time frame to limit the users based on their registration date. Same you can do for the orders by navigating to Deals tab-> Sync Historical Orders as Deals-> selecting respective order status and date range as per your choice.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the response.

There is no ‘SYNC’ item in the navigation.

Also, sync activity kicks off immediately (not just ‘scheduled’, but ‘synced’), so even if I did manage to halt it, most, if not all contacts, would already be synced already.

This is the whole nub of the problem I am reporting. Hence my suggesting it is a design flaw.

(See also my other issues raised).

    Hey @rcain ,

This is because your contacts might be less than 500 as the “Schedule Sync” comes when you have more than 500 contacts at your site. If they are already synced then you might need them to delete manually from HubSpot.

Let us know if you face any other issues.

    Regards,
