  • I had exactly the same issue when I was using Chrome. I switched to IE and it took the changes. Returned to Chrome and the changes were refelcted there too!

I tried it in Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. All do the same thing.

I also tried compatibility mode in IE (after failing using chrome) and i’m still not able to save my settings. Where is facebooks plugin admin to help us?

Is there any way to insert the app id and app secret directly into the database?

I believe the following to be the database entry where the information should be stored, whenever i update the app id and secret this entry doesn’t appear to change.

    ‘90722’, ‘facebook_application’, ‘a:0:{}’, ‘yes’

Joe, uninstall the latest one and try it with 1.3. I had the same issue with 1.4. I downloaded 1.3, saved the settings fine, then upgraded to 1.4 without anymore issues.

Just a note…don’t go back to that page and change the values, or hit save. It will wipe the values again.

    Or….

    Update that database entry.

    '376', 'facebook_application', 'a:2:{s:6:\"app_id\";s:XXXX:\"YOUR APP ID\";s:10:\"app_secret\";s:YYYY:\"YOUR SECRET\";}', 'yes'

XXXX= the length of your app ID (mine was 15)

YYYY= the length of your app secret (mine was 32)

Installing 1.3 seems to do the trick. Thanks!
