The plugin is working well so far except one issue I have:

I’m not able to activate the section Dashboard option that would allow me to control(hide) some widget of the dashboard body page like Activity, wordpress News… I did as mentioned to visit the dashboard once and came back but still nothing displayed in this section. I tried with admin or author account, tried closig browser, restart server etc.. nothing works.

What can cause this? because beside that all the other sections are working.
    Thanks

I think I have fixed this in the next version. It would be fine, if you test the current dev version and give feedback. It was a topic with the cache topic for the settings page.

You find the dev version here: https://github.com/bueltge/Adminimize

I Deactivated the plugIn and even deleted It including data. Then I installed & activated the version here: https://github.com/bueltge/Adminimize

Whe I logged Out as admin I received the following message whe nit tries to access my homePage (not the wp-admin): You do not have the appropriate group permissions to access this page. If you believe you should have access to this page, please contact an administrator for assistance

If I try to login to any user it’s the same message. Only my Admin user can authenticate OK to reach the home page and then to my dashboard.

I will try on another test site that never had Adminimized plgin to install the new version to see if it works.

Forget about the access issue, it was another plugin that caused the problem.

I now have access to the dashboard option settings but whatever I deactivate ex: activity, news.. they are still displayed. On the other hand, in the menu section if I deactivate the dashboard display & redirect to post or profile it works and this is finally workable for me. Also, as everything else work very nicely, I’m very satisfied.

    Thanks!

I found another topic to hide the dashboard widgets. Please use again the download from github, dev repository and give me feedback. Thx.

Thanks Frank. My last post was using 1.10.3.
I don’t see a more recent on GitHub.
