• I am trying to optimize the settings for the theme Mr Jackson with mobile, tablet and desktop views.
    1) When I change the background of the toggle button to any color and click update it reverts to #000000, Why can I not save a new color?
    2) How do I change the color of the bars on the hamburger?
    3) When I change the style settings for mobile, the same settings are assigned to tablet and desktop. Can I not change settings for different devices independently?

    Hi @supertrooper2 ,

I hope you’re doing well, and thank you for your patience in waiting for my reply.

I’m glad to hear you’re working on optimizing the settings and getting comfortable using the Responsive Menu plugin. Let me walk you through the steps to address the issues you mentioned:

    1. Toggle Button Background Color Not Updating
If the background color of the toggle button is reverting to #000000 or not changing, please ensure you’re using the latest version of the Responsive Menu plugin.

You can try updating the color from the plugin settings. Here’s a screenshot for your reference:

Also, try temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme (e.g., Twenty Twenty-Four) to check whether the color update takes effect. This will help determine if there’s a conflict with your current theme.

    1. Changing the Hamburger Bar Color
To change the color of the hamburger menu bars, you’ll need to inspect the element using browser developer tools and apply some custom CSS.

Here’s a screenshot to guide you on the part of the menu you’ll need to inspect:

If you’d like, I can also help you with the exact CSS code needed.

    1. Customizing Styles for Different Devices
The Responsive Menu plugin allows you to apply different styles for mobile, tablet, and desktop views individually.

Here’s a quick screencast showing how to make these changes:

This should help you replicate the settings as demonstrated.

If you need further clarification or assistance with any specific part of the plugin, please feel free to reach out. I’ll be happy to help.

Thank you again for your time and understanding!

    Best regards,
    Dhanush

Many thanks for your detailed reply, Dhanush.

In the meantime I am trying to install responsive-menu-pro-4.2.legacy, which is registered on my account. However I get the error message “upgrade failed”.

I have also tried to renew my existing license but get the error message “customer unknown”.

I am getting very frustrated by your website because nothing seems to work.

How do I upgrade my PRO plugin from Version 3.1.31 to version 4.5.1?

So, finally I ordered the PRO plugin using a different email. After installing and validating the license, I am trying to optimize the settings. However the preview does not load and continues “loading” (see screenshot on the link: https://postimg.cc/gnB7ZMBx).

How do I resolve this issue?
