    Hello!

A customer of mine is currently still using PayPal Plus and will switch to PayPal Checkout.
For this we have set up this plugin today.

Payment via credit card and Pay upon Invoice also work.
However, there is a problem with the default PayPal payment:
    It is not always available.

I went to Settings – Payments – PayPal, enabled the gateway there and enabled the buttons I want at the bottom of the site.
When I save, the checkboxes of the buttons are deactivated again.

But in the store the buttons are displayed. But not permanently. It seems that the setting is only active for the duration of the browser session.

After some time the buttons are gone and I can’t select PayPal as a payment option in the check out.

The same is true if I save the page again without activating the buttons again.

In the Card Processing settings, the checkbox for “Enable/Disable” is displayed as “Disable” after saving, even though the function is enabled in the payment overview. And this payment is also possible in the store.

In the “Pay upon Invoice” settings, the checkbox remains active even after saving.

    No cache plugin is activated.
The PayPal Plus plugin is still active, but the payment options are disabled via the payment overview.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks!

    Hi @momo2005,

Thanks for the details. This sounds like an issue some users started reporting recently.
Please disable the Checkout Field Editor plugin and try again.
This plugin appears to negatively impact the PayPal Payments settings page.

Please let us know how it works for you without this plugin active.
It depends on what it’s doing for you, but we could suggest potential alternatives that may work better.
    Thanks!

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
