    Hi all,

The company I work for is located in a jurisdiction that requires dual-language support, and I would like to force the language selection for Youtube video titles to correspond with the language of the page currently being viewed in the gallery. We use WPML to handle menus & multilanguage, but even though I was trying to force the language selection using the &hl=fr&cc_lang_pref=fr option on the French page, it doesn’t seem to affect anything and I’m still getting English titles showing in the gallery on the French page (even if I have my YouTube language set to French).

If I have French selected in Youtube, the titles do flip when the video starts playing. However I need the video titles to match the page language until the video starts playing. Is there any way to manually specify the language preference when adding a gallery vs. using the get_locale implementation?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

That feature is not currently supported, but we’ll look into it after we get the plugin ready for translation. A project which we’ve been planning for a while.
