    ok i’m so inept it’s unbelieveable… I want to install this wordpress thing but i have no idea where i get the info to input into the initial php that you have to set up with? Do i get it from my hosting company (ie. easyspace)? The company that hosts my site says they have mysql.. do i need to contact them to get a password?… i really have no idea what I’m doing and would appreciate any help you could offer…

    You aren’t inept – the webhost control panel at Easyspace is somewhat odd.

    It looks like you click the Web management tab and activate the mySQL database. I would then assume it will give you some information.
    Your username/password might be the same as you have now for general access there. That’s where I would start but in the meantime throw a couple of support tickets their way too 🙂
