• I hope somebody can enlighten me.

With the latest Woocommerce update, I have set up the different shipping zones of my store with no hassle. Nonetheless, I do not know how to solve the following issue.

Once the clients arrive to the cart and they see the product or products that they want to buy I want them to be able to select two different shipping methods or options: “Flat rate” (understanding it as the cheapest rate which has the minimum charge according to the weight and distance of the package) or “Express shipping” (with an extra surcharge on top of the flat rate according time of delivery).

Now, I have already gone to shipping classes and I have added the different costs for different weights that I can later choose within the product page on the Shipping tab > Shipping Class. BUT, how can I deal with the surcharge for the express shipping I have absolutely no idea how to do it. I thought I could set up additional shipping classes for express shipping and then select two different shipping classes for a single product. E.g.

One bag of 30lbs under express shipping –> one surcharge for weight/distance + one surcharge for express shipping

But I realized you can only select one shipping class for the product… which leads me to think that I must do something like variable product or group product???

Please some help out there. I’m desperate.
