# Setting up links

 * I’m guessing at the version number…
 * How do I link to another site from within a post?
 * I’d like to be able to say “go here” or some such, putting in the whole address
   seems a little crude.

 * In the visual editor, highlight the text that you want to be a hyperlink, the‘
   chain’ will become active (not gray), click it, then paste or type in the URL–
   and review other parameters such as the target.
