Setting the publish date

    I’m having trouble finding a means to set the publish date for a new post in code. Every search I’ve run shows only how to do it using the WordPress GUI, but I’ve got a PHP script to automatically create posts and I need it to be able to set its publish date to a point in the future using the API. Does anyone know how I can do this?
