# Setting plugin for new window

 * We’d like external links from our blog pages to open in a new window, not a new
   tab. I don’t see a specific setting for this. Is there a way to make this happen?
 * The goal is to have the blog page still show in the background when the new window
   opens.

 * If it will be opened in a new window or tab is controlled by your browser.
 * By using javascript it’s possible to open in a new window, but only as a “popup”
   which could be blocked by the browser, so not recommendable.
