Setting one of my custom page templates as the default

    I have a site that utilizes 8 custom page templates and still uses the default page template in a few places. For end user usability, I want to set one of the custom page templates as the default since that one is used 80% of the time. Is there a way to do that?

    You can save that template as page.php

    That will automatically be used if you haven’t selected any template for a page
