• Hello!

I am using Trellis for deployment of a WordPress project. Each deployment generates a time-stamped release folder that is symbolically linked to the latest version of the site. Old release folders get automatically deleted over time.

With each deployment, however, I need to copy over the NextGEN Gallery images and then re-scan the folder to import them. It seems the plugin does not use the linked path but instead the absolute release path. Is there a way I can change this behaviour?

    Thanks in advance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @silumesii,

Unfortunately, this wouldn’t be possible at the moment since NextGen Gallery requires the gallery folder to be located in /wp-content/ folder or subfolder.

    Thanks for your understanding,
    Mihai

    Thank you, @imagely,

Does the gallery path get stored in the database? If the plugin does not support this, I’d like to explore how to either automate the copy or tweak the plugin.

    Hi @silumesii,

I am not really sure about that but I think it should store it in the database.
