Setting Landing and Post page

    i have a problem with setting my landing page and posts page.

    my landing page i want is “About the site” and my posts page “Home”.

    when i try and set these in the Settings>Reading tab i can set the landing page to “About the Site” but my “Home” option does not appear in the drop down for the Posts section.

    my site is http://www.the4thofficial.co.uk

    Any ideas ?

    Do you have a published page called “Home”?

    when you say published what do you mean…it is a page under my header that currently has 8 published posts in it..

    if the main page isn’t published can it contain published posts ?

    and if so how do i publish the Home page now?

    That sounds like a standard home archive listing – not a static Home page. Try creating a page with the title Home & publishing it.

    if i do that how do i then move all my current posts over to it ?
