# Setting Event Dates

 * Hi,
 * I am unable to see the drop down calendar when selecting event start/end dates.
   It looks like it tries to show but then doesn’t.
 * I try and enter the dates manually using the format already entered, but the 
   event does not show on the ticket page.

 * I had the same problem, but if you put the dates in American format of
    MM/DD/
   YY ten it will work.
 * And remember that the start date must be set before todays date to see it while
   you are testing it. When you have a future date you want the tickets to be available
   from, just change the start date to a date in the future and the ticket buy option
   will not show.
