Setting Default Search Settings on Gold Cart Search Feature

    Hi. What I am trying to achieve is making all site searches use ?view_type=default by default, but as my homepage calls ?view_type=grid on load, all searches use Grid View by default which I want to change, how can I change this?

    Also, how can I point it a /search/ where the [products-page] is in use, as the default /products-page/ (changed to /shop/ on my site) is not using the peoducts-page shorcode as I have edited this page manually. I have used one way but this changes the product links to /search/ which causes a 404 error.

    Hi Bob,

    What you’re asking for is really more of a plugin customization than a support request – and it’s related to Gold Cart, not WPeC core – so I’m going to close this as resolved. I’d suggest contacting a WPEC Consultant.
