 * I am trying out the plugin to create a timeline for our church. For most of the
   dates we know only the year (no record of month/day). How can I create timeline
   stories with a year only? Or, alternatively, display with a year only? Thank 
   you!

   Yes, you can absolutely display timeline stories 
   using only the **year**. To do this, simply change the **date format** setting
   in the plugin to show only the year. This way, even if a full date is entered,
   only the year will be displayed on the timeline.Here’s a screenshot for reference
