• Hello there,

I am trying to set up the post slider so that the CSS background-image of the single item content (class wb_ps_content) is set to the dynamic featured image of the WordPress blog post.

Unfortunately, doing this using the Elementor editor does not work.

Using the Elementor editor to set a fallback image DOES make the selected fallback image appear in the browser CSS, but if you remove the fallback image and just set it to use the Post featured image, it does not appear visually in the Elementor editor, and the background-image does not appear in the CSS when inspected with developer tools.

    Hi @wesdavisdev ,
We are not clear about your request. Can you please clear us more about your issue with some more screenshots or screencast? Also, it will be better for us if you share the Page URL too, where you are using the slider.

    Thanks

Setting the Post Slider background image to show the featured image of the post does not work. The image does not appear.

If you set a fallback image, it appears, but it does not dynamically pull the post featured image as it should.

I am currently trying to use the slider on a dev site build at: wesleyd14.sg-host.com

With fallback (this is how the background image should look with the featured image): https://postimg.cc/fJ4jHPHC

Without fallback (featured image is not shown): https://postimg.cc/7fg1jNdk
