    1. Installation in root folder. Sunrise.php turned on. Added IP address in domain mapping.

I think all of that is correct. Here is where I start to falter:

The domain name (cth.com) was purchased at WordPress.com. Set the the nameservers at Wodpress to point domain name to current host. Tested domain name with test.html at current host. URL has been propogated.

Add URL (cth.com) to > Domain Mapping: Domains and set blog ID 4. When typing in the address get a “Ooops! Website currently not available” from host.” Contacted host. They said I needed an add-on domain for cth.com and created one for me. If I set the redirect to go to WordPress install/blogid4 and type in the cth.com, it works fine. However if I set the cth.com as primary in the Domain Mapping:Domains, I get a redirect loop error “too many redirects trying to open cth.com. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.”

The error makes sense, but I’m not sure what I am doing wrong to map the domain. Any support would be greatly appreciated. I have been trying to figure this out for a week now!

    Thanks!

The addon domain can’t be redirected to your WP install. You need to reconfigure so that the addon domain uses the same web root as the WP install.
