 * I am running wp-optimize on our site but I cannot change the plugin’s setting.
   If I make changes and hit save, I get a check mark indicating that the settings
   were saved but when I refresh the settings page, I see the old values come back.

 * Hi,
 * Please could you open your browser’s developer console (CTRL+SHIFT+J or F12 in
   most browsers, then select ‘console’), and try to save the settings again?
 * Do you see any errors or warnings?

 * Seem to be having the same issue on one of my sites as well. Settings are not
   updated, and all the console prompts is;
 * [“Settings updated.”]
    0: “Settings updated.” length: 1 __proto__: Array(0)
 * Furthermore on the database tab, when pressing “run optimization” the page freezes
   and nothing happens. Selecting “run all selected optimizations” prompts a dialogue
   message saying “This operation is permanent. Continue?”, pressing OK takes me
   to a new page stating, “link is not valid anymore”. Also, the tables-tab is blank
   so there seem to be something fishy with the connection to the dB. It worked
   well prior to version 2.2.7.

 * Hi,
 * Are you using any caching plugins on the site?
 * If so, please could you try clearing all caches?

 * Indeed I do use a caching plugin (W3 Total Cache) and I had cleared its cache,
   even tried to disable the plugin. However, as I already planned to switch to
   WP Super Cache I changed the plugin and cleared my browser’s cache – it works
   again. Thank you for the support.
