Setting a Sticky Post causes Duplicates

    I am testing out a theme and just noticed that if I set a sticky post, it appear at the top of my posts but it also appears at its original location within the posts. How comes it appears twice?

    I tested this in TwentyTen and the same thing happens. Is this a bug? Is there a workaround?

    Using caller_get_posts=1 removes the sticky posts completely, but that is not what I want. I want sticky posts to appear at the top and not repeat.

    But I don’t want to have to create two loops. Is that the only solution?
