# Setting a Static Front Page

 * I want to set a static front page. However, when I go to Settings > Reading, 
   the option to do this is not there. Has it moved? Help!

 * “Front page displays”

 * you will need to have at least one published static page for the option to appear.

 * Thank you, Michael! THAT was what it took! I had the page set as Private while
   I am building it. Appreciate it more than you know.
