Support » Plugin: Sticky Menu & Sticky Header » Setting a different menu than my main nav

  • Good day! Firt, thank you for this plugin, it’s so easy to use. I was able to make my #subheader sticky. But I think I want a different menu to make stikcy. I want it to be a combination of my main menu and my subheader menu; I think this means creating a new menu with the pages/links I want in the sticky menu. Is it possible to make a different menu sticky?

I want something like this – https://silklaundry.com.au/ – Notice how the main menu added the cart page/link in the sticky menu.

One more thing, I noticed the sticky menu doesn’t move with the screen when the browser is resized. How to fix that? Thanks.

Hi, thanks for trying my plugin. 🙂

I’m not really sure I understand your first question. On the example site, the header menu gets sticky, but it only changes colors. On your site, the header menu is sticky, but if you want to make another menu sticky, you can definitely do that. However, I’m not really clear what you mean by a combination.

If you meant that you wanted to have more than one element sticky on your site, then no — that can not be done at this time.

As for your second issue, this is listed in the FAQ: this is a known (and annoying) bug in the plugin that I haven’t been able to solve properly yet. For some sites (when the element does not contain any Javascript interactivity, usually), it sometimes helps to use the plugin in Legacy Mode.
