# setcookie() Alternative

 * This plugin worked great until I migrated to WPEngine, where the setcookie() 
   function is blocked.
 * This plugin uses the function for toggling between the mobile and full view. 
   I would really like to regain this functionality, but I need an alternative to
   the setcookie function.
 * Any ideas would be very helpful!

 * That would need a lot of extra coding. Or you could revert to a much older version
   where I did it with an URL query parameter. But I don’t rememeber up until which
   version and if that one still works with the current WordPress…
