 * Fatal error: Call to undefined function set_magic_quotes_runtime() in C:\AppServ\
   www\wordpress\wp-settings.php on line 18
 * when I tried to install wordpress on php6.
 * I read some articles like php6 doesn’t support magic codes any more.
 * so there should not be some solution for installing wordpress in php6?
 * Any help would be appreciated.
 * This is common issue after all and its big issue also, because there are so many
   peolpe who use php6 and wordpress not work for them!!!!!

 * Technically, PHP 6 never existed. It was never officially released beyond the
   development branch and never recommended for usage other than testing purposes.
   In the end, they pulled the plug on PHP 6 and merged some of the new features
   with PHP 5.3.
 * Honestly, my only recommendation is switch over to PHP 5.3.x, since you are using
   an unsupported version of PHP that should never have existed.
