    I’ve included an overwrite of single-event.php within my child theme. Within this file I retrieve a Tribe custom variable associated with each event:
    $holder = $custom_fields[‘Places left’]

    I need to code a decrease of $holder – can I do this and will create any problems-

    $custom_fields[‘Places left’]= $custom_fields[‘Places left’]-1;

    Thanks for any advice on this.

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    I am not exactly sure what you are trying to do here, but we are limited in the amount of support we can provide for customizations, especially here in the .org forums.

    I would recommend taking a look at our themer’s guide, which has some great info on customizing our plugins, as well as this post with more information on some of our functions. You can also browse our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar topic.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi Jenn

    thank you for your reply which is too generalised to be useful.

    Hi @welshartnow,

    Unfortunately, we’re limited in the support we can provide for free on this forum. I’ll leave this thread open though so that members of the community can pitch in if they have ideas about your question. 🙂

    Cheers,

    Shelby 🙂
