As of yesterday, all sites we have that use CF 7 now send response emails from forms with extra content (that should not be visible)
E.G. If I have a form on site
    Fields.

    Name
    Addr 1
    Addr 2
    Email

Then the mail sent to me as site owner looks like

    boundary=”b1_de6b48d3cf687f98e70264c0e54a9e79″
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

If I turn OFF “Use HTML content type” then the mail does not show the extra code content.
We have not carried out any updates on the site(s) in question and they all seem to have an up to date CF7 plug in.
    Can anyone suggest anything?

Where can we see the website?

    Hi.
It was on all our live sites, I had to disable the HTML checkbox on all our sites that used this option as the clients were not happy.
I then set up a dummy site – live one, to replicate this so I could post you a link.
Unfortunately I can’t replicate the error on the spare live site.
I could turn this on for one site that does not get a large amount of form traffic and send you a PM to the link?

Update, I created a new (duplicate) form turned on the HTML checkbox after adding some <b> tags and it now seems to be working. What I intend to do tomorrow is enable the forms HTML checkboxes and add any HTML styling back in, Bold, font size Divs and styles, in order to see what happens.
It is odd that ALL site were suddenly giving the error posted originnally along with HTML tags being visible but not having an effect.
I checked to see if anything changed, nothing, no plug in updates at all.
    Odd!

    CLOSE.
I never found the cause of this. Turned off the HTML check option then a day later turned it back on and it worked. All I can think is that it was a global hiccup of some sort. All sites using this exhibited the issue, then when I turned off and on again, it worked.
This despite none of the sites or plug ins being updated or amended in any way.
