Set up wp on localhost, other computers can't fully access (3 posts)

I set up wp on my OS X machine and it works fine locally. When I try to access it from a machine on my same subnet, it find sees some kind of index page. When I click on index.php I see the main page, but without styles (seemingly because it's trying to access the stylesheet on localhost). Other things are obviously also broken. How do I set it up so I can access wordpress from another machine? I am running OS X 10.3.8 and have Apache2 separately installed (along with mysql and php). Thanks.

I had the same problem... it seems to be fixed now after I went to the wp-admin -> Options page and set the URIs shown there to not reference 'localhost' but my actual URI instead.

Yes that's the problem. You have to put in your actually IP address, rather than just http://localhost
