Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Set up shipping by quantity using the [qty] tag but also have a minimum fee

Hi, I’ve set up my shipping to ship by quantity. Every new item in the cart adds £1 to the shipping. It looks something like this:

    1 * [qty]

I’d like for shipping to stay at £12 for the first 12 items and then start going up in £1 increments from the 13th item onward.

In other words, I want £12 base shipping but I don’t want the first 12 items to increase the shipping cost.

I’ve tried to use the [fee min_fee="12"] tag but it never works as the way I want it.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @sharcs,

I understand you would like to setup shipping based on quantity where 1-12 product quantity will have a shipping cost of £12 and 13+ items will have shipping rate of £12 + £1/item

WooCommerce default doesn’t have this functionality. You can use our extension Table Rate Shipping to build this shipping rule.

You can learn more about how this extension works here:

    http://docs.woocommerce.com/document/table-rate-shipping/

If you want to try any of our products, please note we have a 30-day refund policy. If the product doesn’t work the way you need or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to offer a full refund. You can read more about our refund policy on our website here: http://woocommerce.com/refund-policy/
