• Hiya,

I have WordPress sites where I set up the menu using categories as menu headings. My current site uses the same set-up but this time I can click on the menu headings and I am taken to a category page. I don’t want these menu headings to be linked to anything. The menu headings are ‘Finishes’ and ‘Other’. Can I set this up so I can only click on the drop=down options for these headings?

    Many thanks,

    Nige.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Create a “custom menu” item, using just # as the URL and make that the top level menu item with the category items below it.

When you have created that what Steve has told you, go back to that custom menu link and then delete the ‘#’ and that means it won’t be clickable.
