• Hey there.

Does anyone know of a way to set the maximum number of posts to be show on each page, rather than the total number of posts to be shown over all?

Cause at the moment, I have 2 pages, one for blogs and the other for site news. But if I blog a lot, it knocks posts off the news page in order to add them to the blogs page.

    eg..
    http://www.slickvision.co.uk/ – news page
    http://www.slickvision.co.uk/blogs – blogs page

    Many thanks,

    Jimbo.

I have done.. that seems to set the total number of posts on all the pages. So if it’s set to 10, one page could show 9 posts and another could show 1. I need to set it up so both pages always show 10.

    Thanks.

I’m a little confused here; if the second set of pages “show 1”, wouldn’t that mean that you just don’t have the amount of posts to build up to 10 yet? If you have 5 posts and you set to show 10, it will still only show 5 because you only HAVE 5.

Each page shows a certain category, one’s rants, one’s news. The total number of posts shown on the pages is 10. So if the last 10 posts are in the rants category, the news page will show no posts, because only the last ten posts are shown, rather than showing the last ten posts in each category.

    this making much sense?

I guess I got it now. It seems you’ll need to different Loops.
