Thanks for a good plugin! Is there any way I can modify the content in the “Description” for all (or each) podcast episodes through this WordPress plugin? I thing it would have been better to have a fixed description like “Speech recording” instead of “The post …”. Here is my podcast on iTunes

The easiest thing to do would be to add an episode description to the blog post section of your WordPress posts. For example, your most recent episode here:
    http://www.beteltrondheim.no/language/nb/vaer-bekymret-ingrid-erlandsen/
Is just a title followed by the PowerPress media player. The main part of the post has been left blank. The “The post…” text you’re seeing in your descriptions is being automatically inserted by the Jetpack plugin. Jetpack adds this line to the ends of your posts. Since your posts have no text, it’s the only thing showing up.

Thanks! I would like to make the description the same in all episodes in iTunes. I tried to look for a way to automatically insert a fixed line in every post of that category, so that I do not have to write the same line in every post. I looked at this and this tutorial and tried to combine them, but could not make it. Is it a line in a Jetpack plugin php file I can edit instead in my child theme to make the description the same for all podcast episodes?

I don’t know of anything specific that’ll do what you want. But, if you’re logging into the WordPress site to add your podcasts, why not just make a plain text file with the text you want for each episode and then copy/paste it into the main blog post area? It’ll be published along with your podcast when you click the Publish button for the post.
