I’m not able to replicate this. What happens if you add a new menu item and save the menu and after that try to set an image.

@takanakui Hi Rui, firstly: thanks for this app! I am experiencing the same thing @seto76 has, with a tiny difference: I have a website http://www.timhupkes.com where the plugin works splendidly and I have done a website for a friend http://www.katsongs.nl and even though I use the same theme and child theme… I cannot get the images to show..! I am however able to use the pre-formatted icons (but I would love the social media logos)

Can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing?
It could be a plugin conflict, for testing purposes try to disable all plugins for a couple of minutes except Menu image to see if the issue remains.
Same thing. It’s broken in WP 5.8. It will show up in screen options but not on the menu.

Did you tried to purge the cache? If not try again.

Nothing much to screenshot, it just doesn’t show up without any plugins on. No cache on server. I ended up using HFCM. 5.8 broke a lot of things. This is not the only plugin. I haven’t even had time to read the release notes, just busy testing to see what it broke. 🙂
@takanakui thanks for your response. I have deactivated all plugins and indeed that worked. However…
I have 4 social media menu items. 2 of them do not show the name of the social medium (which is what I want, I only want the image to show) and 2 do show the name. If I delete ‘description’ in the back end in ‘menu’, the whole thing disappears: the link, the image, the name. So now I have 2 social media showing only the icon (yey) but 2 that show icon & name… Is there a way to get rid of those names?
