Set different max-age for archive and homepage

Is it possible to set a separate max-age (lifetime) value for the homepage and for an archive page?
Currently max-age is 3600 seconds for HTML & XML, but I want to change this for post archive pages to 4 hours and leave the lifetime of the homepage untouched by that change.
