 * Hello,
    Thanks for your plugin. I see how I can hide certain page metabox items,
   but I’m wondering if there is a function for automatically revealing (checking)
   certain screen options. Unfortunately wordpress seems to randomly decide which
   screen options are checked by default on new user creation. Not sure why. I need
   a method to set all screen options to “on”, then I can hide a few.

 * No, its not possible to read this from a install of WordPress and it is also 
   possible, that the install is different to the default. WP check the view via
   capability and if the install have change this, like via plugin, then is it not
   how in a default install.
