Set Classic or Gutenberg Editor as default for specific post Categories

    Hi,

    I would like to begin by saying that I love WordPress. 🙂

    The new Gutenberg Editor is also great as it allows me to be more focused on writing the post.

    One feature that I think should be added to WordPress is the ability to select the default editor for different posts individually or for entire categories.

    There are some type of posts which are easier to change with Classic Editor while others are easier to change with Gutenberg editor.

    I just think that it would be great if we could specify the preferred editor for entire categories or individual posts.

    Is there currently any plugin that allows us to do that? All plugins that I have tried will change the editor for the whole site instead of specific posts.

    The Classic Editor plugin has an option to let the user choose which editor per post, although once the block editor is used, it is the default for that post.
    It isn’t per category though.
