The mail headers being set by Sendinblue include

    Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8,text/html

The Indian Rupee symbol “₹” is being displayed as “₹” in recipient gmail, likely because of this setting.

With other mail providers, this header is

    Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8

and the ₹ character is displayed fine. Is there a way to change this header in Sendinblue, so that ₹ character is correctly displayed in recipient mailboxes?

Hi @neeraj_slit : I did further testing, and the issue of ₹ character not being displayed seems unconnected with charset. It is more likely an issue with Gmail. I’m marking this topic as Resolved, since you would not be in a position to fix it. Thank you for your support.
