    Hi,

My client would like and order date box to be implemented in the woocommerce order emails her clients send through. She basically wants the client order slip to show that the order will only be dispatched/available 48 hours after the order has been made online. What is the best option here?

Also, my client is having a hard time collating/organising payments being received from clients online because sometimes the name of the client does not match the name of the client’s account. Is there a way of getting around this difficulty?

    Thanks so much for reading!

    Katherine

If you are looking to have an order date option on the Checkout (and thus display in the email) you can take a look at the Order Delivery plugin on WooCommerce.com. It gives the option for order delivery dates to be shown in the Checkout area.

For the part the order will only be dispatched/available 48 hours after the order has been made online that looks to have a delay mechanism that may require custom coding of the plugin. To this extent, you can reach out to developers at https://woocommerce.com/customizations.

This depends on what they are using for a payment gateway. If they are using something like Stripe, or PayPal it should tie the payment to the order, and that order is then attached to the client account on WooCommerce so that they can go to the My Account area and see everything.

If you are referring to the name of the Account that is created, you might need to put a notice on the My Account screen to please use the actual name of the customer. For that, you can check out how to customize the My Account page here.
