Support » Plugin: Simply Schedule Appointments – Booking Calendar » Set a schedule to “first” days of the month

  • Resolved bliss11

Hi, I would like to know if there’s a way to set a schedule to like EVERY FIRST day, eg. (first Monday or Tuesday and so on) of every month? Also, how can we resize the calendar display/view as well as change the color of the Days which is by default set to black? I’d appreciate your response and help in this regard. Thanks in advance.

    Hi @bliss11,

Thanks for reaching out. We don’t have any automated options of setting every first Monday, Tuesday, etc, but you may be able to achieve this by creating blackout dates for all days except the ones you want to be available.

You can learn more about how to do this here:

Alternatively, you could also sync with Google Calendar and control the availability from the Google Calendar side. Here’s some more info about our Google Calendar integration:

Hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you for your response. The blackout dates when set, however, will be applied to all existing appointment calendars. What we want to achieve is set a specific calendar appointment for a certain class that has a schedule let’s say only every 1st Friday of the month. Is this possible? If the blackout dates option can do that, would you mind giving us some tips on how to work around it? Thank you in advance.

@bliss11 That’s right blackout dates will apply to all existing appointment calendars.

The only way to automate what you’re trying to setup would be to use Google Calendar sync. This would allow you to block off every recurring 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Monday and Tuesday, etc. only for a single appointment calendar.

It’s a bit of a workaround but it does work as you’d expect.

Another option could be to set the availability window to the range of that Monday, Tuesday, etc. each month and that should only show that day. You’ll just have to manually update this setting each month.
