Server upgrade Mysql 5.5 just a link showing

    Hi Sebastien

    My hosting company have just upgraded to the stable mysql 5.5 and now the videos are just showing as https://vimeo.com/******* in both chrome and firefox – I have noticed this occur on a localhost server at home when switching from php 5.2.4 to php 5.3.13 ( mysql 5.5.24 )

    I have deactivated and reactivated but nothing has changed. As I sell actual videos as the product itself, its quite important I demo them so anything you could suggest to help would be appreciated.

    Hi Mark,

    This is a new one for us. One we will need to look into. First could you answer a couple of questions below.

    • Have you checked to see if the embedded code is ok when you edit a product?
    • When attempting to create a new product and add a video, do you get the same results?

    Screenshots would be also helpful.

    P.S. WordPress now supports video more so we are working on improving how this plugin works.

    Thanks for the ultra quick reply. I just created a new product

    and its showing in the embed and as a tab for a newly created product, thanks for the suggestion.

    Would this mean I have to re-create all my products again from scratch?

    Hi Mark,

    We are happy that worked out for you.

    It sounds like it was an issue with MySQL when it was upgraded causing an issue with your database and making your videos no longer work.

    We would suggest checking each product and re-do them if it has been affected or use a recent database backup of your site before MySQL was updated.
