# Connection Timeout When Editing Events

 * Hello Everyone,
 * I’ve got a lot of experience with back end PHP coding but rather new to WordPress,
   so this problem is beyond my ability to solve at the moment. I hope you can help
   me with it.
 * When my client edits more than one event at the same time in separate tabs (meaning,
   they open several tabs, and edit one, then go to the next tab and edit it while
   the previous one is still submitting) the connection times out and the site becomes
   unavailable for several minutes on the local network. During this time no computer
   on the local network can access the site, but external connections are unaffected.
   For example the client can still connect from their 3G connection.
 * The live site is running wordpress 3.7. It’s got several plugins and I suspect
   one of them is the culprit but not sure which one.
 * I’ve also got a development version of the site running on the same server, and
   it does not have this problem. The development site is also running 3.7 and has
   the same plugins. I already tried deleting the plugins from the live site and
   replacing them with the plugins from the development site, but this didn’t change
   anything in the live site’s behavior so now I’m at a loss.
 * How would you troubleshoot this?

 * It may just be a hosting issue where the server does not have the resources. 
   Do you have a clone of the site meaning having a copy of the database with all
   the content as well?
 * You can try this plugin …. it’s stale but I have it on one site running WP 4.1
