Server starts chrasing

I just updated to the latest version of the plugin and my site on bluehost started to crash. It constantly losses connection. This was happening two also two versions ago, but after I installed previous version it all stopped. Now is happening again! I constantly get “Error establishing a database connection”….is something in the new version that crashes server?
