# Server response

 * Hello,
 * The server response of the translated page is 5506 ms, but when requesting again,
   the server response is already 36 ms.
 * The response time of not translated page around 20-40 ms.
 * How is it possible to fix?

 * What you can try to improve your site speed is to enable the “Disable dynamic
   translation” feature from the Settings->TranslatePress->Advanced tab.
 * Also,you can enable the “Disable translation for gettext strings” feature from
   the same path and see if there is any improvement in your website speed.
 * What you can also try is the “Optimize TranslatePress database tables” feature
   which can increase your website performance.
 * Remember,the secondary languages are expected to be a little bit slower than 
   the default language due to translations that need to be loaded.
