Server- or Client-Side Image Mapping

  • Several years ago I used PageMill to create a client-side image map. I created the image and defined the hotspots and their links. PageMill and CGI (I think) did the rest and it worked great.

Is this something that could be done within WP and TinyMCE? If so, where can I find information that would tell me how to define the hotspots and attach the links to them?

  • I’ll try rewording the question:

Does WP support client-side image mapping or am I barking up the wrong tree here?

I’m Looking to try to do the same thing to have an image with hotspots for the header. I have been trying to edit index.php and header.php and have gotten the hotspots to display…but the image won’t show up. If I find out how to do it I’ll come back to post.
