I created a wordpress site on a local host using Xampp. I moved the site to the live server, and my machine when searching for the site it says server not found. When i use a different machine at a different location it works fine. What changes do i need to make so i can edit the site on my own machine? Please Help!

Can we have a link to the site?

Did you use a virtual host for your local site by adding your site to your computer's host file?

I can see your website just fine. If you didn't add your site to the host file in the first place you don't need to look it up.

Can you see your site in other browsers?

i can't see it in any other browsers. It just my computer, and its blocking it from other devices if i am using the same connection. (phone, pc, etc) but when i have someone else test the site from a different location it works for them?

    Try flushing your dns:

I use textwrangler (Mac text editor) to edit the host file. Text Wrangler will edit the /etc/hosts file with admin privileges. Just use the “Open File by Name” under the File menu.

and its blocking it from other devices if i am using the same connection.

Looks like it's some (router) firewall issue.

Don't change anything. Check if your domain name for your local host or remote website is in there.
