 * Hi,
 * I am considering switching to WP, and the most important thing for me is that,
   if I do, it will be convenient to migrate my WP installation from one server
   to another.
 * When I say “installation”, that includes not only the entry database, comments,
   trackbacks, but also things like custom templates and graphics. I am on MT now,
   and what I hate is how I feel like the program has chained me to my hosting provider,
   who has gone downhill.
 * I know that (with MT at least) the convenience of migrating to a new server depends
   in large part on how well you organize your files to begin with. So I guess I’m
   wondering if that’s also the case with WP. Does it have the faciilty to backup
   all blog-specific (rather than server-specific) assets to a single file? Or does
   it at least impose a directory structure that facilitates this?
